Great and very PROFESSIONAL FROM BEING TO END. COST VERY ECONOMICAL AND PROFESSIONAL ALSO TOP OF THE LINE.
OK OK OK.... so it took me a few months to get my thoughts together to even leave a review. Well I will make a long story as short as possible. My dad passed away and his services was in July this funeral home was picked by my aunt (dads' older sister) who have been by his side since he first took sick. Let me back up and say my dad is divorced and I am the oldest child that is out and able, now with that said I was the next point of contact for the hospital, insurance company (and I would assume) the funeral home. WELL I was sadly mistaken and heart broken when I called to find out general questions and concerns about the planning process etc since I was in Boston trying to handle things on this end with my aunt being the local contact in Alabama b/c she was close. One day I called the funeral home and was told by Mr. C. Woods that he could ONLY speak to my aunt regarding services and any out going information. That caught me by surprise b/c they was the one who called me in the first place to let me know that my dad's body is being transported there so how is it that I couldn't be briefed. So during this situation there was a lot of family drama etc, and I don't do good with drama so I tried to handle as much as I could on my own but being I couldn't get any information it was hard, and again drama in the family was at an all time high. so to make this story short I did not attend my dads home going services BUT I did have a small memorial service for him myself. I just think the professionalism was at an all time low and me being nice letting my aunt pick the place backfired and I should have followed my own plans and went with Radney Funeral Home. I should have known this one wsn't going to be good it is the 21 century and technolgy is everwhere and small point but Memorial don't even have a website for general information/inquiries. I will be also contacting the BBB...RIP DAD I love you forever and hope your soul is at rest, your NANA
